The Coolest Rides & Adventures to Try Out at Disneyworld

There’s a common saying that Disneyworld is one of the happiest and most magical places on earth, so I had to put that to a test when I visited some of its most remarkable theme parks recently and for the first time. A very long wait for some of the most memorable rides ever, but were they worth it? In this blogpost, I will be sharing some of the coolest adventures to try out at Disneyworld so you can gain some insights into how it’s like, and tips on what to do whenever you decide you visit, especially if it’s your first time.

Mission Space – Epcot

In case you didn’t know, there are 4 theme parks at Walt Disney World – Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot. The majority of our visit was at Epcot.

Mission Space has two fun and thrilling missions to either orbit around the earth or take a trip to Mars. We tried both rides and I could easily choose my favorite one as someone who has the worst motion sickness. Can you guess which one I liked more?

Green Mission – Orbit Around the Earth

On this ride, we went on a mind blowing adventure to see many different continents from a space-like view. The ride was gentle and short. Each team member had a task assigned to help complete the mission, and what we had to do was press a button that clearly blinks several times to alert each team member to complete that task to continue to the next steps. Easy peasy!

A quick side note though, is that it lacks touring around literally the whole 7 continents. Only a few were spotted. However, I still haven’t seen anything like it or close to it.

Orange Mission – Trip to Mars

The Orange Mission was a more intense version of the green mission. It gives you an out-of- space experience to be on a journey to land on safely on Mars.

Oh my! This ride got me thinking; “I shouldn’t have signed up for this one”. My motion sickness went out the roof to the point I could barely witness what was going on.

A quick advice I would give is that although it’s still a great experience, definitely think about it first. Close your eyes if you need to and remember to breathe.

Gran Fiesta Tour

This was a similar boat ride to the Living with The Land tour but with a touch of Mexican culture. We cruised down the Rio Grande to sight see some beautiful cities in Mexico, along with some great music selection which felt so authentic.

Living with The Land

Living with The Land ride was an extremely gentle and slow boat tour that gives you a brief history on agriculture about farming, greenhouse, This was definitely my favorite rides and I enjoyed every bit of it!

Soarin’ Around the World!

This one is like a gentle roller-coaster ride that glides you above the most breathtaking views of nature; from the Great Walls of China, to the Eiffel Tower, to Mountain Kilimanjaro. You have to see this one for yourself because it felt so realistic to feels the sensation of splashes of water over the ocean and to ride over the forests and smell the nature at the same time.

The Avatar Experience – Animal Kingdom

The Avatar Flight of Passage adventure gives you a 3D tour over Pandora. Before this trip begins, you get to hop on a Banshee which will give you a ride across Pandora’s landscape. I’ve gotta say, the motion sickness got me here too, but leaning forward and pretending to move in the same direction of the Banshee really helped.

Disney Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

If there’s one thing about me you should know, then it’s my immense love to be around the ocean and I got to do just that! My lovely family and I got the chance to witness some incredible fireworks that lit up the night sky. I’m also a city girl, so I enjoy being around large social groups to witness beauty at the same time. Additionally, I finally got the chance to take home some Florida sand for my travel collection.

One word- realistic! I have never imagined a place with so much excitement, a place that feels like you are indeed in a whole different world of excursions. In conclusion, yes, Disneyworld is definitely one of the happiest places in my book. I had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to plan another vacation to try out the other theme parks.
