So, the fall season is finally here, and winter is right around the corner, but you probably had to take that stubborn heat rash you got from the hot summer temperature into the next season. Sounds awful, doesn’t it? If you’ve been a victim of this kind of heat rash during extremely hot weather temperatures, I am going to give you some quick ways to help diminish your heat rash once and for all!
Heat rash is generally caused by the exposure to extreme hot temperatures. For lighter skin tones, this rash turns red and has a stingy, itchy sensation. For darker skin tones like mine, I have the same sensation, except it does not always look red – I just have a lot of rash and bumps on my skin. Heat rash usually appears on the stomach, or the neck area. This usually clears up on its own, but if you are someone who has had it for as long as I did (about 6 months), then you might need a few home remedies or ways to help clear them up.
My heat rash was on my face, so I felt so insecure about it, and it felt very uncomfortable; I just had to get rid of it. I was tired of people asking me what had happened to my face. So without further ado, here are the two remedies I used to quickly get rid of my heat rash.
Snake Brand Prickly Heat Powder – I purchased this product on Amazon. I applied a descent amount to my face every night for about 2 months. I noticed that this helped with the heat rash because the rash would return whenever i stopped using it for a few days.
Apple Cider Vinegar (Home Remedy): Also a great face toner, you can apply a small amount of apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball. Apply this on your face as often as you would like. Since this vinegar has such a strong smell, I applied it to my face before I took my morning and night showers.
From my experience, heat rash can be very stubborn and take forever to leave. Mine could quickly return as soon as it gets hotter, which is why I love using these products as remedies because they are affordable, and last for a very long time. I would definitely recommend these products to anyone struggling to get rid of theirs.
