I know I haven’t posted much this year but I am slowly coming back and stepping into 2021 with a pop of color and even I wasn’t ready for this glow. You guys know that I also have lots of love for my neutrals, but I also love experimenting with many different colors as well. Bold colors are getting trendy lately. They were. a thing in 2020 so I’m absolutely sure that more bold trends will flourish in 2021. I couldn’t wait to join other fashionistas on this so I decided to get back to exploring with these trends. Such trends can be hard to pull off, so I’m going show you a few ways you can also pull off trendy bold colors to help elevate your fashion sense.
BRIGHT COLORS WITH NEUTRALS
If you’re someone like me who wants to keep a simple look but still exhibit your sense of style, you can try pairing your brightest outfit with other neutral colors. I tend to pair mine with the simplest black shoes that I may have in my closet. Pairing with neutrals are always easier. As we all know, they are usually the easiest colors to pair anything with as they can be so versatile yet so subtle.
To help give out ideas, I picked out a hot pink belted blazer dress and paired it with some regular black pointed toe heels.

GO MONOCHROME – PAIR WITH THE SAME BOLD COLOR
I believe this is one on the easiest ways to pull off a bold color. For this idea, you won’t have to constantly think of what to pair your bright colors with. As long as you have a shoe about the same colors as the outfit, you should be all set. Monochrome outfits are classy and well put together. They don’t necessarily have to be the exact same color combination. Other shades close to your bold color of choice should work fine if well thought out.
DON’T GO TOO HARD ON ACCESSORIES
Unless there’s a specific look you’re going for, try adding other accessories that won’t distract your whole look. Avoid wearing any earrings or necklaces that have a different sense of style. That may take away the attention from the bold dress.
I went for a special-made black and silver purse that I got from my sister, and it worked perfectly with the earrings and shoes I wore this outfit with.
CREATE A COLOR BLOCK OUTFIT IDEA
Color blocking is a unique way to show off different styles that almost no one could have guessed could work so well together. In such cases, look up color wheels, or other colors that your bright attire can be matched with. When done right, this can look very high class, fashionable, well thought out, and sophisticated. Don’t be afraid to pair up with different colors. Explore the beauty of this while you can.

In addition to color blocking, another unique yet similar way to pull off a trendy bold color is to look up complementary colors and use it to your own advantage to help you pair up opposite colors into one bright look. The first times you try this may seem off. however, you won’t know if you’re into that kind of style until you try.
