So, there is it guys!! I finally got the chance to model for a fashion designer!!
Exciting, isn’t it? Well, let me tell you more about this awesome experience. I have a few steps for you guys to follow, in case you would also like to showcase a company or someone else’s work just for the fun of it.
REACHING OUT
A few months ago, I reached out to several fashionistas on platforms such as Instagram, and through email. Of course, not everyone got back to me, but the one person who stoop out to me the most was Allison Nicole, the sweetest, fashion designer of all times, who actually got back to me.
I reached out to tell her how much I love her work, and that I would feel so honored to model in her designs.
THE INVITATION
Not only did Allison promise to reach out to me if anything, she actually sent me a message to invite me to a few events, including the Denver Fashion Week, to showcase her lovely work. And of course, I was down with it!
MORAL STORY
Don’t give up! Reach out and someone will get back to you. Someone would love to see through you and your passions and give you a chance to do what you love. Seek the opportunity, but don’t throw it away when it comes to you.
